Every article starts with a question
We define the claim being examined, the relevant chain, asset, contract, market and observation period. We distinguish addresses from identities, balances from beneficial ownership, and quoted market depth from executable liquidity.
Evidence and sourcing
- Prefer primary documents, protocol data and reproducible queries.
- Record observation times, units, denominators, exclusions and transformations.
- Link the source nearest to the claim it supports.
- Label estimated, modeled, incomplete or illustrative information.
- Never present a wallet label as verified identity without adequate evidence.
A source link does not make an inference true. The article must explain what the evidence supports and what could change the conclusion.
Analysis, guides and opinion
Research examines a defined question through evidence and interpretation. Guides explain a method or concept. Opinion, if introduced later, will be labeled and will not borrow the visual authority of reported research.
Conflicts, holdings and paid relationships
Authors and editors must disclose material financial interests relevant to an article. Fenton will label sponsored or paid material clearly, close to its headline, and separate it from independent editorial work. A sponsor may not purchase a finding, rating or omission.
Use of AI and automation
Tools may assist with organization, transcription, code or repetitive analysis. A responsible human must verify factual claims, calculations, citations and the final publication. Fenton will not cite generated text as evidence or invent sources, quotes, identities or measurements.
Corrections and updates
Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a note when they do not change meaning. Material factual corrections receive a dated note explaining what changed. Substantial updates must preserve the original publication date and identify the update date. Work that cannot be supported may be retracted with an explanation.
To challenge a claim, use the contact page. Preserve the article URL, disputed passage and supporting evidence.
Investment boundary
Fenton provides general informational research, not personalized investment, legal, tax or accounting advice. Coverage is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold an asset. Crypto assets can be highly volatile and readers remain responsible for their own decisions.
